Matchbox Children's Theatre holds a glorious stock of costumes for our entire community's performances, and we'd like to share with you.
We know that costumes are not just an accessory but an essential part of bringing your theatrical production to life. We offer a vast selection of high-quality, unique costumes for rent that will transport your audience to a completely different time and place. When you rent from us, you're not just getting a costume, you're also supporting the upkeep and care of our costumes, so they can be enjoyed by many in the future. And we thank you for that.
To rent a costume:

Fill out our rental contract and credit card authorization form below. Please read carefully, note that we do charge for late fees, as well as damage or loss of the costume.

Once that is done, you get to the fun part! We will set up an appt time for you to work with our costume crew. Once you've found just what you're looking for, set your return appointment, and provided payment then off you go!
When you return your costume(s) at the two week mark, we will quickly check over your rental to ensure all is well, and you're all done.

All base rentals are for 2 weeks. Weeks 3+ are an additional 25% per week of base rental cost.
Late Fee = 25% of rental total each week
Damage Fee = from $5 to FULL Value of Item
Loss/Not Returned = FULL Value of Item
Extra Cleaning Fee = $10+

Our costume rental service is the perfect solution to your costume woes! Our costumes are made from top-quality fabrics that are sure to impress your friends and family. Wanna go above and beyond an Amazon level, but don't want to pay a crazy price for something you use once? We got you.
We can help outfit you with a full ensemble, head to toe for one price! Embellish even further? Let's go!

Theatre Production Rentals
At Matchbox Children's Theatre, we understand the importance of bringing the imaginative worlds of the stage to life, and we are proud to support local theatre organizations in their endeavors.
We know that putting together a successful theatre production can be difficult, which is why we are here to help. Our team is committed to providing you with the best possible rental experience, and we will do our best to make accommodations according to your budget and production needs. Our expansive inventory of costumes ranges from animals to contemporary, and many accessories to complete your vision. We are committed to helping you bring your artistic vision to life.
We use the profits from our rentals to improve and expand our costume inventory that provides for Riverland Community College, Austin High School Drama Club, and Ellis Middle School Theatre, so you always have access to the latest and greatest costumes, while keeping prices within reach for you to enjoy our wonderful collection too.
